Adhering to the quote of Namazhvar, “Farming is not a Business but aLifestyle”, Actor Aari established the NGO “Maruvom Mattruvom” to initiate a drive for good and healthyfood. It is very clear that over 50% of our organic native seeds have been replaced by hybrid seeds and it’s high time to conserve our native organic seeds.
While every parent in India focuses on giving a bright future to their children, they miss out the fact of gifting a healthy lifestyle to the future generation.
To propagate this fact, Aari has initiated the project “Nanum Oru Vivasayi” (I am alsoa Farmer), where he promotes growing one’s own food through Terrace Gardening.
Our agricultural landscape is turning barrendue to the constantapplication of chemicals in the form of fertilizers and pesticides.
